Children Available for Adoption

Children Available for AdoptionThe Children's Aid Society strives to keep children living with their families whenever possible. Unfortunately, even after receiving counseling and various forms of assistance, some parents cannot provide their children with adequate care. In situations like these, children may be brought into the care of a Children's Aid Society. Wherever possible, the Children's Aid Society works to reunite children in care with their birth families or with other familiar community members who may be able to care for them. When such a reunion is not possible, the plan for the child may include transitioning him or her to a "forever family", such as an adoptive home.
